HOW WE STARTED

Patrick O’Callaghan, Company Director, established A1 Home Care after recognising the need for quality home care services after witnessing the poor care received by his father. His aim was to set up a domiciliary care company that could provide good personal care and support to service users and their families. Patrick wanted to ensure that care was always tailored to the individual needs of its users, and that the Registered Manager, carers and office staff work together to deliver that support within the user’s own home.

OUR HELP AT HOME TEAM

Nicky Cook, the Registered Care Manager at A1 Home Care, has over 25 years experience working in the care industry dealing with elderly and vulnerable adults. Nicky is dedicated to the business and is committed to ensuring that standards are maintained to deliver a high quality service. She is adept at managing a large volume of staff and dealing with the sometimes very complex issues associated with a service user’s care package.
We have over 70 fully qualified carers who are dedicated to providing quality home care services to our clients. Our staff work hard to ensure that the dignity, respect and independence of the service user is maintained and will, when necessary, provide support to family, friends and representatives as well.
